Start Here

If you're reading this, something brought you here. Maybe a hard year. Maybe a quiet feeling that there has to be more than this. Maybe you just typed a question into Google at 11pm that you'd never say out loud. You're not the first man to do that, and you're welcome at our table exactly as you are.

If Any of This Sounds Like You

You don't need a reason to come. But most men who show up are carrying one of these:

You want to believe, but you're not sure you do

Doubt isn't disqualifying. Some of the strongest men at our table spent years unsure. Bring the questions — we'd rather wrestle honestly than pretend.

You walked away from God a long time ago

You haven't out-run anything. There's no lecture waiting for you here and no one keeping a record of the years you were gone.

Your marriage or your family is struggling

Most of us have sat where you're sitting. You'll find men who will pray with you and tell you the truth, not men who will pity you.

You're fighting something you can't beat alone

Anger. Drinking. Pornography. Debt. The thing you'd never put in a text message. Men here have fought it too, and what's said at the table stays at the table.

You're successful and still empty

You did what you were told to do and it didn't fill the hole. That's not a failure of effort. It's a sign you were built for something else.

You just want real friends

Grown men are lonely and nobody says it. This is a room full of men who will notice if you're not there next week.

What This Isn't

  • It isn't a church service. We meet in a Denny's booth, not a sanctuary.
  • It isn't a membership. Come once, come every week, come back after a year away.
  • Nobody passes an offering plate. It costs nothing but the price of your coffee.
  • You won't be called on, put on the spot, or asked to pray out loud.
  • You don't need a Bible, the right clothes, or the right words.

What Actually Happens

We order food. We open the Bible to wherever we left off and read it together. Men ask questions — real ones. Somebody usually admits he had a hard week. We pray before we leave. Then most of us stay talking in the parking lot longer than we meant to. That's it. That's the whole thing.

What If I'm Not a Christian?

Then you're especially welcome. We're not going to corner you, and nobody is going to demand a decision from you. You can sit, eat, listen, and disagree. Plenty of men came for months before anything changed — and plenty came, decided it wasn't for them, and left as friends. Either way, you'll be treated like a man, not a project.

The First Step Is Just Showing Up

You don't have to fix yourself first. You don't have to have your answer ready. Thursday at 7:00, there's a table in Glendora with a seat at it — and if you'd rather not walk in the first time, join on Zoom from wherever you are.

Every Thursday · 7:00 PM

Denny's — Glendora, CA

No sign-up. No cost. Just pull up a chair.
